Til It’s Gone

Eloise Kirk with Tristan Jalleh & Kai Wasikowski,

Mona Foma 2021

‘Til It’s Gone brought together a trio of Australian artists each approaching themes of ecology, geomorphology, capitalism, time, and ruin. The exhibition was a site-specific response to the derelict site of the National Automobile Museum of Tasmania.

Eloise Kirk, Tristan Jalleh, and Kai Wasikowski are emblematic of a generation of artists who are responding to the low-humming threat of environmental catastrophe in nuanced ways.

Presented with the support of The University of Tasmania.
