Lou Conboy: Sisyphina
Through photography, film and sculpture, Lou Conboy reinvented the myth of Sisyphus with witch goddesses and she-trolls traversing the northern wilds of Tasmania. Shot with expired aerochrome film (a colour-infrared film developed for government surveillance), the dramatically staged tableaux were rendered in violently inverted colours, creating a curious dreamscape of beauty and peril.
